Pairings: Willow/Other (Sara) Author�s Notes: (1) This story is in screenplay format, not in fiction format. It is the second of a series of screenplays intended to reunite Alyson Hannigan and Amber Benson in several spin-off TV movies that focus on the character of Willow. However, they feature a new character for Amber Benson: Sara. (2) Since the Willow and Sara Series is designed to be a true spin-off, it does employ only canon background material. (3) Shattered Illusions should be read first. Number of Chapters: 7 acts Complete: Yes Summary: Willow and Sara are a month into their new relationship. All is going well--until Wai-Yi, a powerful warlock from China, comes calling. He has come halfway around the world for one thing and one thing only: Willow. But not the good Willow we all know and love. No, he wants Evil Willow. And he�s willing to do anything to get her, including raising Warren from the dead and enlisting his aid in the project. Gifted with powers from Wai-Yi, Warren begins a campaign of terror designed to push Willow over the edge. When Warren fails, Wai-Yi takes matters into his own hands. He succeeds in bringing out Evil Willow, but in the process, he gets more than he expected. Sara ends up being the only thing standing between Evil Willow and the world. ACT FIVE INT. WILLOW�S CAR - NIGHT Ruby is driving, racing through town again. Andrew is in the front seat. Willow is in the back seat cradling Sara�s head in her lap. Willow is crying. WILLOW EXT. THE HOSPITAL - THE E.R. ENTRANCE - NIGHT Ruby screeches the car to a halt inches from the E.R. doorway. Ruby gets out of the car, runs inside, then comes back out with E.R. staffers bringing a gurney: two males and the FEMALE NURSE. Willow gets out and directs the staffers towards Sara. As the two male staffers get Sara out and put her on the gurney, the female nurse stops Willow. FEMALE NURSE WILLOW FEMALE NURSE WILLOW Willow�s eyes are blazing as she stares the nurse down. The nurse backs down and lets Willow run past her into the Emergency Room. INT. EMERGENCY ROOM - NIGHT Willow runs to Sara�s gurney as she is being wheeled toward a room. The DOCTOR is trailing alongside, evaluating as they go. DOCTOR WILLOW The doctor and staffers get Sara into a room. When Willow tries to follow, they prevent her. DOCTOR Willow reluctantly goes back into the waiting room. Andrew and Ruby come for her and make her sit between them. RUBY WILLOW INT. EMERGENCY ROOM - NIGHT - LATER Willow is near the end of her story. Andrew and Ruby are looking at Willow in shock. RUBY Willow pulls down her bloody shirt, revealing the red welt where her gunshot wound used to be. RUBY WILLOW ANDREW WILLOW RUBY (O.S.) When she hears Ruby call the doctor, Willow jerks her head up and then shoots up from her chair. The other two follow. WILLOW DOCTOR WILLOW DOCTOR WILLOW RUBY DOCTOR RUBY The doctor nods and moves away. Ruby and Andrew support Willow as they go to Sara�s room. INT. EMERGENCY ROOM - SARA�S ROOM - NIGHT Inside, Sara is still and pale. She�s hooked up to various machines. She�s getting oxygen, but she is not on a respirator. Willow and Andrew go to one side, Ruby goes to the other. Willow takes Sara�s hand. WILLOW Willow begins to sob. She leans over onto Sara�s shoulder, crying. Andrew puts his hand on Willow�s back. Ruby gets a confused, questioning look on her face, and she stares at Sara intently. Andrew notices. INT. HELLISH DIMENSION - TIME IRRELEVANT Wai-Yi has Warren in his clutches, torturing him magically. Warren screams in agony. WAI-YI WARREN Warren screams more as Wai-Yi intensifies his torments. WAI-YI Wai-Yi is suddenly distracted by something he senses. He smiles. He drops Warren and smiles even bigger. INT. EMERGENCY ROOM - SARA�S ROOM - NIGHT Ruby continues to stare at Sara intently. ANDREW RUBY Willow stands up straight, suddenly interested in what�s going on with Ruby. WILLOW Ruby puts her hand on Sara�s forehead and immediately jerks as a vision hits her. After a moment, she pulls away. WILLOW RUBY ANDREW RUBY WILLOW RUBY E.R. staffers come in and interrupt. They wheel Sara out and take her to ICU. The nurse comes back to them. FEMALE NURSE WILLOW The nurse leaves. Willow drags Ruby and Andrew to a quiet spot. WILLOW RUBY
WILLOW Willow�s questions are cut off when Ruby grabs Willow�s hand and then presses her other hand on Willow�s chest. They both react to the surge. After a moment, they separate. WILLOW RUBY WILLOW RUBY WILLOW ANDREW WILLOW RUBY WILLOW RUBY ANDREW RUBY ANDREW RUBY INT. WILLOW�S HOUSE - THE STUDY - NIGHT Willow sets up her laptop. Andrew and Ruby put stacks of books on the desk. RUBY WILLOW RUBY WILLOW Ruby nods. Willow leaves the study and goes into the living room and lies down on the couch. She folds her arms across her chest and goes into a meditative state. INT. THE GALLERY - TIME IRRELEVANT (WILLOW�S SOULSCAPE) Willow is in a weird gallery. It twists and turns. It has huge paintings on every wall. The paintings depict places from Willow�s past and present. Willow sees a painting of the old Sunnydale High School Library, the dorm room she shared with Buffy, the bedroom she shared with Tara at Buffy�s house. When she sees this last one, she touches the painting, and her hand disappears into the painting. She pulls it quickly back. Then she puts her hand back in, realizing that the paintings are like doorways. Willow moves on. She sees a picture of her office, her house, and her bedroom. Then she sees a painting of the warehouse where she was shot by Warren. When she gets close, she sees Sara inside. Willow steps through the painting and into the warehouse. INT. SEEDY WAREHOUSE - DAY (WILLOW�S SOULSCAPE) Willow sees Sara walking slowly around the warehouse. Sara appears confused, like she�s high. She gazes about the room as if looking for something. SARA WILLOW SARA WILLOW SARA Sara gets groggy-looking and starts to sway on her feet. Willow rushes to her, just in time to catch her and prevent her from falling. WILLOW SARA Willow leads the weakened and confused Sara out of the warehouse and into the gallery. INT. THE GALLERY - TIME IRRELEVANT (WILLOW�S SOULSCAPE) Willow steps out of the warehouse painting with Sara. She leads Sara down to the bedroom painting. WILLOW SARA Willow leads Sara through the bedroom painting. INT. WILLOW�S HOUSE - BEDROOM - DAY (WILLOW�S SOULSCAPE) Willow steps out of the portal with Sara. She leads Sara to the bed and lays her on it, pulling a blanket over her. Sara snuggles comfortably into place. SARA WILLOW SARA Sara smiles and drifts off to sleep. Willow smiles, then closes her eyes to concentrate. INT. WILLOW�S HOUSE - THE LIVING ROOM - DAY Willow comes out of her trance. She quickly rises -- and finds Andrew and Ruby sitting there waiting on her to wake up. WILLOW ANDREW RUBY WILLOW INT. THE HOSPITAL - ICU - DAY Willow, Andrew, and Ruby enter the ICU. BOSSY NURSE stops them. BOSSY NURSE WILLOW BOSSY NURSE WILLOW BOSSY NURSE WILLOW Bossy Nurse smiles and goes about her business, ignoring the group. As they head toward Sara�s room, Andrew sidles up next to Willow. ANDREW INT. THE HOSPITAL - ICU - SARA�S ROOM - DAY Willow, Andrew, and Ruby enter the room, carrying their supplies for the ritual. They quickly set up a sacred circle on the hospital tray: a candle, an incense holder, a silver cauldron with sand and a bundle of herbs in it, a glass chalice of water, and the doll�s eye crystal in the center. Andrew lights the candle then uses its flame to light some incense. He holds the candle in his hand then waves the incense over the circle. ANDREW Andrew puts down the candle and places the incense in its holder. Ruby removes the bundle of herbs from the cauldron and lights them with the candle. She picks up the chalice and holds it in her hand. She waves the bundle of herbs over the circle, then places it in the cauldron. RUBY Ruby returns the chalice and places the herbs back in the cauldron. WILLOW Willow places both her hands on Sara�s chest. White energy pours out of Willow�s hands and into Sara�s body. The energy emerges from everywhere in Willow. It swirls around her body, then flows down her arms and into Sara. When the last tendril leaves Willow�s body and goes into Sara, Willow falls backward slightly, but catches herself by grabbing the side of the bed. She shakes her head, trying to clear it. SARA WILLOW Willow grabs Sara�s hand as Andrew and Ruby huddle closer to the bed. Sara�s eyes flutter open and look around, finally settling on Willow. Everyone smiles. WILLOW SARA WILLOW ANDREW SARA RUBY SARA WILLOW SARA RUBY Ruby pats Sara�s shoulder, and Andrew squeezes her hand. Ruby nudges Andrew, and they exit, leaving Willow and Sara alone. For the longest moment, Willow and Sara just hold hands and stare into each other�s eyes, still not quite believing that the other is alive and well. Willow finally breaks the silence. WILLOW SARA WILLOW SARA Willow takes Sara�s hand and puts it on her own heart. WILLOW Unknown to Willow and Sara, they are being watched. Wai-Yi is standing at the doorway, apparently invisible to them. WAI-YI
